Chip in

$22 a month, or about five dollars a week.

We're a long way out from the next election, which is exactly why regular giving matters now rather than later. Money that arrives predictably is what lets us plan, commit to venues and materials, and organise ahead of time instead of scrambling once a date is called.

It also settles who the campaign ends up answering to. A few hundred people giving a small amount each month is a very different kind of accountability from a handful of large cheques, and we'd rather have the first one.

If a monthly amount doesn't suit, a one-off contribution helps just as much. Nothing here is means-tested and no amount is too small to be worth having.

A few practical things. Donations are processed monthly rather than weekly, so the weekly figures above are just a way of picturing it. Political donations are not tax deductible.

We keep proper records and meet our disclosure obligations under electoral law, and we won't accept money that comes with conditions attached to it.
