Have your say

Opening soon

Tell us what's on your mind for Sturt.

We're putting together an open consultation across the electorate, and we'd like you in it. Register below and we'll let you know the day it opens.

What this is

Most political consultation is a formality. A party decides its position, then runs a survey carefully designed to agree with it. We're trying to do the opposite, which means asking open questions, listening to what comes back, and letting the answers change what we end up campaigning on. The issues on the table will be the ones people raise, not a list we hand out.

How it will work

There'll be a few ways to take part, so you can pick whatever suits you:

  • An online survey you can fill in whenever you've got ten minutes
  • Direct round-table conversations, where a small group talks properly about what matters to them
  • Public sessions on specific topics, starting with one on AI and what it means for this community

What we'll do with it

The results go into the policy platform, and we'll publish what we heard rather than just what we decided. Every position we develop has to pass two tests: is it fair, and can it be sustained over decades rather than a single term. What you tell us is how we work out what that means in practice for Sturt.

Registering doesn't commit you to anything

It puts you on the list to be told when the consultation opens, and nothing more than that. We ask for an address so we know which parts of the electorate we're hearing from and where we're not. You can leave the list at any time, and we don't sell or share your details.
